Journal encourages the article pertaining researches of the Eastern Himalaya, through peer review process. To enable the quality article, the following publication policies are adopted.
Copyright Policy
Copyrights for articles shall be retained by the authors having the first publication rights to the journal/publisher. Authors have rights to reuse, archive, and distribute their own articles in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis after publication. The journal/publisher is not responsible for subsequent uses of the work.
Open Access Policy
We provide open access to all articles on the official website of the HARC. The readers, therefore, are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute and print. All articles published are open access articles distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution license.
Submission Policy
Submission of an article must be original and not published elsewhere. Further, it should not be under review in any other journal for the publication. Thus, the author must submit the declaration stating its originality and publication status. Otherwise, the board may not consider the article or research work for the review and publication.
Publication Charges
SEHJ publishes researches through the peer review process without any publication charge.
Publication Ethics
To meet the standard in scientific quality and research publication, the SEHJ (journal) shall derived the malpractice statement with the help of Editorial Advisory Board and research experts.
Standards for Editors
The Editor-in-Chief of SEHJ shall determine which research papers or articles to be published. The publishing decision is based in accordance to the suggestion of the journal’s reviewers and the policies of the journal’s editorial board. Privacy statement : No data shall be disclosed by the editor and /or any editorial personnel from the concerned article except corresponding author or reviewers.
Standards for Reviewers
The review on the research papers is in confidential manner. In addition to this, the reviewers must send the feedback or suggestions or comments within the stipulated time for the expedite action. For the improvement of the scientific researches, the reviewer may comment in such manner so that the quality of the research paper or article gets improved. The reviewers too suggest the authors ‘to improve the scientific quality of research paper’ by their reviewing comments. Privacy statement : No data shall be disclosed by the reviewer from the concerned article and must follow the prescribed format to comment and suggestions.
Standards for Authors
The corresponding author must abide by the policies of the journal who must take responsibility of the submitted and published work. While the publication of the research paper or article, the author citations must be placed correctly. Further, the author must response to the reviewers’ or editor’s comments on stipulated time.
The corresponding author is sole responsible for any misleading information violating the copyright laws, conventions, rules of the State and Central Government of India and such other international laws. The Patron-in-Chief, Patron, Editor and Editorial Advisory Board and the office of SEHJ shall not be responsible for it. Plagiarism Certificate must be provided during the submission of the article or research paper.
The plagiarism, unethical publishing behavior, ais unacceptable Privacy statement : Authors should ensure that their submitted research work is original and has not been published elsewhere in any language.
